This is a super colorful recipe packed with fresh fruit and cheese. With a toddler at home, I have been making this kid-safe version using small straws instead of sharp sticks. Feel free to get creative and change up the fruit or cheese selected for your kids’ favorites.
Ingredients
- 10 strawberries
- 10 straws (cocktail straw or small coffee stirrer straws work great)
- 20 cubes cheese (Muenster or mozzarella cheese)
- 10 green grapes
- 10 blueberries
Directions
Start by cutting the stem and leaves off the top of each strawberry. Using a kabob stick or small paring knife, press the hole down center of strawberry. Press first strawberry down the straw, followed by one piece of cheese. Next, add a grape, followed by another piece of cheese. Finish the straw with a blueberry. Repeat the same process for the remaining straws.
