Buttery Ranch Snack Mix

Don’t let the seemingly long ingredient list dissuade you. This snack mix makes a party-size batch that you can store in the fridge for up to one week. Pull it out and share it with last-minute guests—if you can keep yourself from eating it as soon as it’s ready!

You can make the Ranch Mix in advance and store in a tightly sealed jar. You can also try increasing to 2 tablespoons of each ingredient and use in dressings or to coat meats.


  • Snack Mix Ingredients:
  • 2 cups salted cashews
  • 2 cups pecans
  • 2 cups gluten-free pretzels
  • 4 cups Rice Chex
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Ranch Mix Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


Preheat oven to 250° F and line two large baking sheets with parchment.

Combine Ranch Mix ingredients in a large bowl and toss with nuts, pretzels, cereal and cranberries. Bake on prepared pans for 1 hour. Toss with Parmesan and bake an additional 15 minutes.

Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator for a week.
