Paleo Honey Ketchup

Most common condiments (including everyone’s favorite, ketchup!) are not considered Paleo. They normally contain sugar, corn syrup, and other processed flavors and thickening ingredients. This Honey Ketchup recipe is absolutely delicious as a Paleo condiment or in your favorite recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce cans tomato paste
  • ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon or all-spice

Directions

Place all ingredients in a pot and mix well. Cook uncovered at a low simmer for about an hour, until it reaches the thickness you desire. Allow it to cool and then place in a jar in the fridge. It should last at least 3 weeks. Feel free to add some spice and kick it up with some heat.
