I grew up eating my grandma’s famous mini hamburgers, an absolute favorite in my family. This keto-friendly version has fewer onions and added cheese.
Gluten free, corn free, soy free
Ingredients
- 1 pound 90% lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- ½ white onion, diced
- ¼ cup ground pecans
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, divided into ½-ounce portions
Directions
Place ground beef in large bowl, and add the egg, paprika, salt, pepper and diced onion. Mix together.
Add the pecans and mix again.
Separate the meat into 8 even portions, about 2 ounces each. Form patties with each portion of meat, adding ½ ounce of cheese inside each one.
Heat a pan to medium-high heat and spray well. Place the mini burgers in the pan and cook each side for 4 minutes, until they are golden brown.
