Brownie Cookie Surprise

What’s even better than a gluten-free brownie? How about a gluten-free brownie with an ooey, gooey cookie surprise as its top layer!

  • Brownie
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • Cookie
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk
  • 1/2-1 cup almond flour
  • Dairy-free chocolate chips (e.g., Hu Chocolate Gems)


1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix together brownie ingredients until combined.
3. Layer brownie mix on the bottom of baking dish.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together cookie dough ingredients.
5. Once combined, layer cookie dough above the brownie layer.
6. Bake for 25 minutes.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
