Gluten-Free Waffle Breakfast

Serves 1

Easy Turkey Breakfast

Whether hosting house guests over the holidays or merely looking to brighten your kids’ morning, this fun gluten-free waffle breakfast will delight everyone at your table. And best of all, it’s ready in less than 10 minutes! Who says fast food can’t be good? You can let your children help prepare their own “turkey” or surprise them with their ready-made poultry pal. Either way, smiles and full bellies will abound!

  • 1 gluten-free frozen waffle
  • 1 slice gluten-free bread
  • 2 edible googly eyes
  • 1 baby carrot, cut for the beak and feet
  • Slice of strawberry, for the waddle
  • ½ green apple, sliced

While toasting the frozen waffle, cut the gluten-free bread with a peanut-shaped cookie cutter. You can either toast the bread or leave as is.

Place the bread on top of the waffle and assemble the face. Spread out the apple slices for the feathers. Serve with fresh fruit and syrup, if desired.
