At the Peruvian restaurant Los Andes, there is no specific gluten-free menu. However, almost everything can be customized to your preference and gluten-free options are plenty. The same goes for Tallulah’s Taqueria and Gracie’s. Gluten-free items are marked on the regular menu.  The staff will offer additional precautions if required – all you need to do is ask. Always remember to double-check about cross-contamination.

Federal Hill is known as the Italian neighborhood of Providence. Strolling Atwells Avenue you’ll be surrounded by shops and restaurants that serve some of the best Italian food in the area. The Italian markets will have cheeses, meats, and fresh produce to peruse and drool over. For gluten-free dishes, visit Massimo Ristorante or Pan E Vino which both have extensive gluten-free menus and staff aware of food allergies and restrictions. Try the gluten-free pasta dishes, and for dessert, treat yourself to a gluten-free cannoli.
