Gluten-Free Yogurt

I often take Greek yogurt and turn it into a spread or dip easily. While you can drain the yogurt, I just work with it right out of the container and mix in what is around. I often like to combine chia seeds, SuperSeedz pumpkin seeds, a dash of red pepper flakes, and a spritz of olive oil. It makes a fantastic spread or drip.

I use this spread on a Canyon Bakehouse plain or Everything bagel for breakfast and add cucumbers for a little crunch. I often pair it with crackers like Mary’s Gone Crackers Original Crackers or any of Simple Mills Crackers as more of a dip. In fact, their Farmhouse Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers pairs really nicely with this combination.

I often take the same base for yogurt and make it sweet. I combine the yogurt with seeds and fruit such as blueberries and strawberries. When I have a plain yogurt that maybe needs a little sweetening, I have even added Simple Mills Soft Baked Snickerdoodle Cookie or even Soozy’s Muffins. This combination works with any kind of yogurt and it does not need to be Greek. It is great with some of the Siggi’s yogurt. This makes a great breakfast, snack, or even a dessert.
