Spooky Spaghetti for Halloween!

In honor of Halloween, Explore Cuisine has developed two spooky spaghetti dishes sure to thrill adults and kids alike at your dinner table. Before heading out to trick or treat, make sure everyone has a healthy meal of Black Bean Spaghetti with AFRAID-O Sauce or Garlicky Black Bean Spaghetti Spoons with Deviled Eyes. Both dishes are made with Explore Cuisine’s vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO Black Bean Spaghetti, which is made from only one ingredient—organic black beans.

Black Bean Spaghetti with AFRAID-O Sauce
and
White Carrot Phalanges

Ingredients
  • 8 white carrots
  • 1 box Explore Cuisine Black Bean Spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 jar gluten-free alfredo sauce
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (choose one that is more red then orange)
  • Fresh basil
Directions

Peel white carrots then carve with a small knife into finger-bone shape. Steam until al dente. Set aside.

Heat the sauces in separate saucepans over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Place warm spaghetti in the center of four serving plates.

Ladle alfredo sauce over the center of the spaghetti.

Arrange carrot phalanges over the sauce.

Splatter marinara sauce over the entire dish in a gruesome manner.

Garnish with basil.
